The holidays have arrived. As a divorced person a few years ago, I found the holiday dinners and party's opportunities to meet people and this would be considered a casual date place, or places, depends on how active you are. Many times friends invite guests for the possible hook up. The atmosphere is certainly happy, no pressure, if things don't mesh, it's okay, because everyone enjoyed the time.
There are all sorts of dating dress for holiday parties. We always liked very casual. Jeans, sweatshirt's, mostly boots, this time of year, always around a fire, tipping a few beers, playing a radio, our kareoke. Once in a while, we planned something more upscale, long dresses, heels, dinner, the whole fun date nite. But this was not the norm, as we were the snowmobile, sock hat sort.
