Aries - Capricorn Relationship
We have spoken of the selfishness of Aries, Capricorn has it's fair share as well. Aries selfishness is the result of the Ram's thoughtless and infantile desires. What Aries wants, one way or another, Aries gets, as long as they've learned not to forge ahead too quickly. Capricorn selfishness is motivated by the Goat's determination not to look back to see who slipped and fell behind, might delay their own personal mission. Selfish is selfish, whatever the cause and both are guilty.
While Capricorn may envy Aries ability to fly through life, with free and careless style, perhaps with good reason. Capricorn's aren't noted for careless, gaiety approaches. Rarely are they innocent. Mostly they are born old, with ingrained sense of both wisdom and patience, not normally acquired until much later. It seems the Goat's are born old, and tend to become younger as they age.
Aries reasons for forming any type relationship are always impulsive and idealistic, governed by emotions. Capricorn's have more practical reasons. While Goat's resent the implication that they tend to marry up the social or financial ladder, it is more often than not true. Not that they are cold and calculating, just thinking ahead for the sake of the children.
Capricorn is ambitious, and thinks no one knows it, Aries is openly ambitious. Cap has bouts of pessimism, Aries have binges of foolish optimism. Cap is all about "the establishment", Aries wouldn't know the social latter from a tall building, they delight in defying "the establishment", feeling no obligation in respecting authority, and they pay for this.
Picture the shy, sturdy, sure-footed mountain goat, stepping carefully from rock to rock with confidence and determination, finding nourishment in patches of sparse grass, even eating cardboard or cans when necessary. Nothing permitted to delay the slow steady progress to the pinnacle of truth, wisdom and justice.
Now picture the rocky mountain ram, who requires a diet of richer grass. Unlike the goat, the ram finds it impossible to digest rusty nails of criticism and the broken glass of disappointment, and often misjudges the distance when leaping from rock to rock, causing him to fall, and dent his horns. Because the dreamer's vision distracts him, the ram takes some unscheduled detours.
That's the basic difference, both are tough climbers. But the Goat's final destination is the very top of the mountain, the only place it feels secure. Should the Ram arrive there, it would be a lonely place, no more challenges, life is for the thrill of danger.
Aries Woman - Capricorn Man
The air of loneliness hanging over the Cap Man's head, even in a roomful of people, draws the Aries Woman, to her the reason for his loneliness, is that he's been waiting for her. Aries rarely beats around the bush.
Her initial enthusiasm may soon be stifled by his slow response, and his career, his family. How is he supposed to sweep her off her feet and marry her when he's already wedded to his job, his ambitions and his relatives. This could be the end of a promising relationship, she thinks he wouldn't recognize fun and beauty if he got clobbered with it.
She is wrong, Caps do appreciate beauty, the fun things, music. They'll never tell it unless they feel safe doing so, knowing the other person cares. Her initial approach may have been overwhelming for this shy Cap. Capricorn's have a difficult time coping with reckless action and abandon, even in the name of love. It takes this man time to make sure he has a firm grip on the reality of a romance, and even then proceeds with caution.
Should these two Astrology Signs reach some settlement of their differences, and give their hearts, their outlooks on life must still be either overcome or over-looked. He'll try to over-look, she'll try to overcome. Even in tackling the problems of their differences, they're different.
The tensions and troubles, the misunderstandings and lack of communication this man and woman must face - are formidable. their rewards for being patient with each other, and waiting for the heart's wisdom to guide them are forever-after.
Aries Man - Capricorn Woman
If they meet when she is past thirty, the further the better, she may be a barrel of laughs, full of young ideas about everything, and they'll more in common. This can lead the Aries to think she's as impulsive and carefree as he, another one of his rash judgments. She's still a Capricorn, and her kooky reverse aging twist will never reach quite far enough to snap or distort her basic ideas of security. Nothing will ever change Cappy's reverence for success and a solid bank account. Most Aries men have great potential for success, but don't always display a natural knack for building solid bank accounts. Until their past thirty, maybe fifty or better yet sixty, after they think they have a life span of five hundred years, there's lots of time.
The Capricorn train of thought is never permitted to run off the rails. Consequently, the Goat Girl becomes upset when anything unexpected to unorthodox threatens to disrupt the smooth status quo, and a Ram may unknowingly supply such disruptions. If Goat Girl is upset, Aries man is tense. She normally has nerves of steel, eyes like a hawk, and the patience of Job himself. Impatient Ram may feel inferior to her self-control. He shouldn't, her self-control is only the chain she uses to bind her spirit from flying too far out, where there's no one to catch her. If he's persuasive enough, determined enough to convince her, his arms are strong enough to catch her--- This man follows the sunrise, and he's hurt when she won't join him. She's gentle and warm and makes his heart smile with her jokes. Did I mention, every year that passes, she looks better.
