Aries - Aquarius Relationship
These two have this outstanding thing in common - they're both curiously attracted to anything new until thye've extracted all the fun and truth from it. Then they toss it away and go on to the next new and exciting adventure. There's no looking back and sniffling over the past.
Aries will throw themselves into things with total commitment (for the moment), enthusiastically and fully involved in what's happening. Aquarius is equally enthusiastic, but these people don't throw themselves into anything. Aquarius approaches everything with a studied detachment, snoop around, scratch their heads, and wiggle their ears - from a safe distance. That way they can enjoy it without getting either tangled up or tied down. Both stand out in a crowd.
Aquarian passions are more controlled that the Aries, whose instinctive loves and hates, often cause them to act from sheer animal urge, or personal gratification of the ego. Aquarians more often flee from instinctive action into the realms of the higher mind and the domain of pure intuition. This gives them and uncanny physic or intuitive ability.
Aries and Aquarius are essentially compatible. There's an almost visible cord of understanding running between them, so that even when they strongly disagree, it's always possible to replace tension with harmony anytime they choose to do so.
Aries are accused of being naive, impractical dreamers. Aquarians are frequently accused of being just plain crazy. That's another reason they get along. They both feel misunderstood by the world and everyone in it. They also both feel they are on the right track, separately or in unison, and the rest of the world is out of step.
Aquarian tolerance insulates then against the shock of the sudden whims and highly original, creative urges of Aries. There will be times when Aries believes Aquarius doesn't have it together, and Aquarius will worry over being able to cope with the temper flashes of Aries. Yet generally these two should enjoy a mad, fabulous and unique relationship.
Aries is never big on reaching Nirvana. To become unconscious of yourself - that's ecstasy? Aquarius will try to convince Aries to try, however. Aquarius likes to share his wisdom of the ages, solicited or not. You may hear "All human troubles stem from an overemphasis on the emotions and an exaggeration of personal feeling". Aries responds "People who deny their emotions and bury their personal feelings are cold and heartless, lacking all enlightenment and perception".
So - where do they go from such a dead-end street? Back to their leprechauns, miracles, rainbows.
Aries Woman - Aquarius Man
These two could have a glorious time together, if Aries girl can get into her head, when an Aquarian man laughs, it's because he feels sad. When he cries, it's because he feels happy. Once she catches on to his game, she'll have an easier time with all his other tricks. Like keeping her guessing he cares for her, and the tricks he uses after she's already guessed he deeply cares, and the ones he uses when he's hopeless in love, still trying to convince himself he can switch back to friendship before it's too late. If you like games, here's your guy, and he'll be fun too. Aries girl, likes games, but the catch is she likes to win all the time.
Mr Aquarius has no patience with Ms Aries who play by those rules. She gets no free passes just because she sheds a few tears, ok, angry tears. Being she's so independent and aggressive, for a girl, he'll likely say, "Listen, buddy Aquarians call everyone buddy, if you're so sensitive, how come I saw you marching in the Women's Lib parade? You women who demand equal rights had better be able to take them on.
He's wrong. She only joined the parade because she couldn't resist the excitement of the drumbeats. Rams are idealists, who sometime start cheering for a cause before they know what it's all about. An Aries girl joining a Womens Lib group, not likely, she was born liberated - and won't give up her feminine privileges, just to prove she's equal, when she knows she's already superior.
All right, so he can be kind and gentle, tender, sweet and funny, when it suits him. But he's still cold and heartless when seen through the sentimental eyes of the more sensitive, open-hearted Aries girl. The difference in their natures may be occasionally adjusted through compromise, but never completely overcome.
Aries Man - Aquarius Woman
There is a curious air of absentminded detachment about an Aquarian girl. Some interpret it as daydreaming. Aries calls it an unforgivable outrage. Aries dosen't like being ignored. When Aires falls in love he expects an immediate response, anything less, he might move on. The Aquarian girl doesn't find it so easy to decide, remember they have many friends, and the decision is whether this is another friend or someone more important. Anyway love has to begin with friendship. Chemistry alone is not enough to sway this girl.
To keep her interested Mr. Aries needs to find ways to vary his approaches to romance, love. Perhaps intimacy after a fight, the unexpected is always welcome as she loves the unexpected. She needs change, and he needs to get creative.
She should realize that he is wounded more deeply than he'll ever show when her detachment leads him to believe she doesn't need him. She shod respond to his overtures with nothing less than enthusiasm. If she remembers to make him know she loves him, when he stumbles and falls, just as much as when he wins, his confidence will grow.
