Maybe A Picture Isn't always Worth A Thousand Words

Dating site profiles usually want a photo, particularly where women are concerned.  So men are visually stimulated, and it is normal to be interested in the pictures.  Unfortunately, especially with adult dating sites, an attention-getting photo is usually not a good indicator of a good dating prospect.  As many of us mature girls know, that "yellow polka dot bikini", isn't our best look.

Guys, if you see a photo of a really hot woman and it looks like they were taken by a professional, be careful, professional-looking photos of women who look like the could be ;models or porn stars are usually used on fake online personal ads being used to market porn site memberships.  While I still think most of us could use a really well done picture, not one that tries to do a total makeover, just bring out our best is advisable, I would like to think you all could tell the difference.  Chances are if a woman looks like a model or porn star, in her picture, she likely is, or doesn't exist.  Ok, she exists (she's a model or a porn star).  Most likely your chances of meeting her are slim to none.  Most of the time guys you are outnumbered as the number of men searching adult dating sites is ten men to 1 woman  if you factor in the fake profiles it is more like 50 to 1.  Boy thats a lot of e-mails to go through every day, can you imagine doing that? Going through that many e-mails means you are either being paid to, or don't have a life.  If a woman looks that good, it's likely she doesn't have that much time on her hands.

Look at the ordinary photos, then again if you are only interested in the mattress bounce, why bother with a picture at all.

Pictures can be misleading, some won't represent what your gal looks like now,   While I haven't looked at any profiles, I have read that some photo's are of body parts, mostly on adult dating sites, either way, I guess the skin comes into play, old or young.  This is where the 'be honest" part applies.

Fella's just cause there isn't a picture, doesn't make the girl ugly. Think about this, maybe the girl has had some experience with online dating profiles with pictures and had some troubles keeping up with all the e-mails, in other words don't short change yourself.  A few chats won't hurt you know.

In the end, while a picture may be worth a thousand words, in online dating, especially adult online dating, a picture isn't worth much at all.
