Where to Meet Singles


Single and looking, wondering where to look or where to start.  Tried a personal ad only to be disappointed.  Don't give up, you need to find out what works for you, and brings out your true character.

There are 3 ways to meet other singles, spontaneously each is unique and work differently.  First, most common is to meet spontaneously without expecting it. You can meet other singles anywhere, anytime and you never know where, how, or why.  Just happened.  The beauty of this technique for meeting singles is that it is a very pleasant surprise.  No working for it, no preparation, no nerves, no screw ups just happened.  As great as it sounds, meeting singles this way doesn't happen often.  If you are a believer in  the spontaneous, keep your mind, eyes, ears, and self open.  Also, don't forget to look your best at all times.

A set up is a way to meet singles, usually through specific activities that assures singles will be there.  An example of a set up is online dating, a singles event, a blind date or a setup date.  Friends are usually a good source for blind dates or setup dates. You know in advance you are going somewhere for the purpose of meeting another single. A drawback might be that you get nerved up this involves some amount of vulnerability and openness

Last, long term way, a transition from friends to lovers, sudden development of an attraction to someone known for a long time and who you see often.  Not much risk here, and the "getting to know", occurs over a period of time.  Of course if it doesn't work out you may have to leave the place to avoid contact.  Might be inconvenient if it's your work place.
